Spa at Wynn & Encore

My mom loves Vegas. I mean if she is not in Vegas once a month, the hotel calls and asks if she's okay... My dad on the other hand can not stand smoking, drinking and gambling. So why does he agree to go there and where does he hide out when there is no soccer game on.... the Wynn Spa. It is truly a beautiful and amazing experience!

I don't blame the man, that's where I want to be right now!

Great Wallpapers

Wallpaper has the ability of transforming a room into a rich space. It adds a large scale of texture to a wall which paint does not provide. Painters can accomplish similar textures with skill and patience, but it will not have the consistency of wallpaper. Some designs may require an organic and fluid design pattern, in which case paint is a great solution.

EMERALD GREEN

Emerald green has a rich and vibrant character to add to a color palette. It is also my birthstone which gravitates me towards loving the color even more. Whether its a peacock feather, stones, or textiles; Emerald has a certain richness that has everyone wanting it.

Angelina Jolie wore her emerald earrings best with a gorgeous black gown.

Keira Knightly wore this beautiful emerald dress in "Atonement." Costume designer, Jacqueline Durran chose this color to symbolize temptation. As soon as I watched that movie I was tempted and determined to have my own!

In my recent search I came across these two dresses, designed by Emilio Pucci. The cut outs in this dress are simply sexy.

My sister was assigned a project in Otis fashion school where she had to use inspirations from Moroccan tiles to produce a bathing suit line. Below are two of the tiles she used for pattern and color inspiration.

This amazing space, designed by Kelly Wearstler, shows how stunning the color green can look when set contrasting against neutral tones. The sofa is kelly green, which makes the space feel comfortable. However, if the sofa was reupholstered with an emerald green velvet, and the rug was custom made to replace the green to emerald, this space would scream "rich!"

THE BELVEDERE.

One reality show I enjoy watching is the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I try not to pay too much attention to the drama in the show, but the amazing homes these women live in. One home that really caught my attention is Le Belvedere, owned by Mohamed Hadid. This home is truly breath taking, and if I owned it, I don't think I would ever leave. Set on the most prestigious street in Bel Air, this three story, approximately 48,000 square foot masterpiece offers views of the city and surrounding mountains. All I need now is $85 Million.

Turkish bath in a home says it all. I am in love.

MY KIND OF BATH

Bathtubs have always remained popular in bathroom design. Not all people take advantage of their tubs for relaxing, however, they still have the ability to add grandeur to a space and serve as a focal.

Tubs in the bedroom have become popular over the years in hotel rooms, lofts, and master bedrooms in homes. Below are options for tubs I would love to have depending on the next home I'm in...

Sicis designs beautiful glass tile bathtubs. The tile mosaic walls and/or floors show off the tub and help unite the room. The shoe tub is feminine and great for any woman shoe lover.

We have tufted sofas, chairs, pillows, headboards, and/or walls. Tufts adds texture and beautiful shadows, and a great addition to objects to tuft is the tufted bathtub.

I also adore the classical shape and legs of the tubs below with the use of contemporary finishes to create an updated and forward look.

The bathtub below is just too cool.

The bathtubs above are great, but they are all missing the most important element of an amazing bath.
