THE HOTEL THAT MAKES ME BLUSH!

Villa D'Este, in Lake Como, is my most favorite hotel in this world! The villa combines history with elegance. I could spend all day in the gardens and just relax. I cannot wait to visit! 

TRICK, AND TREAT!

Here are some great Halloween ideas! I've chosen my favorite concepts from these pictures to decorate my own house. 

Tomb stones in the front lawn and dim lighting are a great way to greet your guests and prepare them for the spooky decor inside. 

Love the stacked pierced pumpkins. The piercings allow beams of light to come through for a great lighting effect.

The cauldron is filled with punch and dry ice to create a steam effect. No need for a fog machine! First time I saw a drink prepared like this was a lemon drop at Mastros. So fabulous!

Black birds are just scary, even in everyday life.

I love skulls! I don't need halloween to have skulls all over the place...

Vegetables/ fruits + food coloring + water = pickled guts!

Red candle wax poured over a white candle stick gives the impression of dripping blood.

Glow in the dark eyes in a frame. This illusion is so easy to make and cost effective. Visit the Martha Stewart website for details. I made three of them with my cousin in 30 minutes! 

AMAZING STAIRCASE

I am a HUGE fan of Alexander McQueen. He has not only influenced fashion, but the interior design industry. His use of skulls and inspiration from the fine details in the Westminster Abbey in London, has also influenced residential and hospitality spaces. His bold designs have been worn my by the daring fashionista, Lady Gaga.

As soon as I came across this amazing staircase, designed by Philip Watts, I automatically thought of my favorite designer, Alexander McQueen.

Not only does this boutique carry the most beautiful and unique clothing, I had the honor of designing their couture evening dress department! By creating an exotic and posh environment, women will visit the boutique anytime they want to try an evening dress and feel sexy and treated like royalty! The room reflects the amazing service the boutique provides for their clients... Women and men (we didn't forget the bar)!

Nothing is more rewarding than completing a job. The only thing better is over hearing people talk about how amazing it is. #Winning!
