THE BELVEDERE.

One reality show I enjoy watching is the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I try not to pay too much attention to the drama in the show, but the amazing homes these women live in. One home that really caught my attention is Le Belvedere, owned by Mohamed Hadid. This home is truly breath taking, and if I owned it, I don't think I would ever leave. Set on the most prestigious street in Bel Air, this three story, approximately 48,000 square foot masterpiece offers views of the city and surrounding mountains. All I need now is $85 Million.

Turkish bath in a home says it all. I am in love.

MY KIND OF BATH

Bathtubs have always remained popular in bathroom design. Not all people take advantage of their tubs for relaxing, however, they still have the ability to add grandeur to a space and serve as a focal.

Tubs in the bedroom have become popular over the years in hotel rooms, lofts, and master bedrooms in homes. Below are options for tubs I would love to have depending on the next home I'm in...

Sicis designs beautiful glass tile bathtubs. The tile mosaic walls and/or floors show off the tub and help unite the room. The shoe tub is feminine and great for any woman shoe lover.

We have tufted sofas, chairs, pillows, headboards, and/or walls. Tufts adds texture and beautiful shadows, and a great addition to objects to tuft is the tufted bathtub.

I also adore the classical shape and legs of the tubs below with the use of contemporary finishes to create an updated and forward look.

The bathtub below is just too cool.

The bathtubs above are great, but they are all missing the most important element of an amazing bath.
CANDLES AND FLOWERS.

OUTDOOR INSPIRATIONS

I would say my design style consists of combining contemporary design with elements pulled from Indian, Chinese and Moroccan cultures. I also love bringing outdoors inside a space by creating harmony and  a fluid transition between one space to the other. The images below either represent my preferred design style or inspirations for other styles I adore.

I love using the white and cream color palettes. When incorporating gold, I also love the addition of the peachy colors to warm up the space. The swing below contributes to the Indian style but also adds a touch of playfulness to the elegant design.

This is a great look for the rooftop of a loft.

Nothing feels more zen than the greenery surrounding the pond water that has painted the reflection.

Once again, ZEN.

Great outdoor accessory!

In my home, the outdoor space we use the most is around the fire pit. No matter what Southern California temperature, we all gather around, get cozy, and spend quality time together.
